Mackenzie W. Smith is an aviation, products liability, and commercial litigator with broad trial experience in various state and federal courts.
Mackenzie began her legal career at an AmLaw 100 firm, where she was a member of the commercial litigation and products liability practice groups and gained significant experience in aviation matters. Between 2012 and 2014, she completed a two-year fellowship at the Chester County District Attorney’s Office in her hometown of West Chester, Pennsylvania, during which she prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases and secured favorable jury verdicts in trials ranging from low-level drug offenses to serious violent felonies. Mackenzie has also tried cases in Pennsylvania’s Orphans’ Courts as a fiduciary litigator. From the beginning of her career and even more so recently, Mackenzie’s experience makes her a well-rounded trial attorney and formidable opponent.
Mackenzie graduated from Tulane University magna cum laude in 2005 with a B.A. in Linguistics and Italian. She graduated from Middlebury College in 2006 with an M.A. in Italian Studies, and earned her law degree cum laude from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2009, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
